Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Upper Arlington, OH, is seeking team members to provide overnight support, receive and prepare products, and maintain the floor, displays, and back stock.

You will deliver friendly, efficient service, follow health and safety standards, and participate in required trainings; prior retail experience is not required. The role supports store programs and customer experience with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Sort and scan waste.
• Maintain production standards.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
• Maintain back stock.
• Handle DC and UNFI invoices for product delivered outside store receiving hours.
• Check-in product and report miss-picks to leadership.
• Receive product from receiving location to sales floor or back stock.
• Assist in receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling; answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including health and safety requirements.
• Keep a clean and sanitary environment; maintain equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
