Overnight Grocery Clerk (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Effective communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Any retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities include:

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making suggestions about products
• Gain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to customer inquiries
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and ensure freshness
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
• Report product discrepancies and safety issues
• Ensure food safety regulations are followed and proper temperatures are maintained
• Practice safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents

Salary Range: $15.25 - $17.85 per hour
