Job summary

Bald Eagle Fuel & Tire, d/b/a Snappy's in DuBois, PA is hiring an Overnight Grille Cook (full-time/part-time). You will prepare fresh food for customers overnight and deliver great service while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; prior restaurant experience is welcomed but not required as training is provided. Benefits include PTO, weekly pay, 401(k), employee discounts, and health coverage for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items accurately and efficiently, including made-to-order items.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean equipment and prep areas.
• Follow food safety standards in handling, preparation, and storage of food.
• Prep for the next shift with restocking and other duties to ensure readiness.

What You’ll Do:

As an Overnight Grille Cook, you’ll prepare fresh food for our customers while providing great service and keeping food quality and safety top of mind.

• Prepare Customer Favorites: Cook and prepare hot and cold menu items accurately and efficiently, including made-to-order items and Grille Express selections.
• Serve Up Great Service: Provide friendly, helpful service and make sure customers have a great experience.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly clean equipment and food-preparation areas.
• Follow Food Safety Standards: Properly prepare, handle, and store food while following health and safety requirements.
• Prep for the Next Shift: Complete necessary food prep, restocking, and other duties to help ensure the Grille is ready for the next shift.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous retail, restaurant, or food service experience is preferred, but not required. We’ll train the right person!
• Skills: Ability to prepare food accurately, manage multiple orders, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Attitude: A positive attitude and commitment to providing great customer service.
