Job summary

National Fitness Partners is seeking a cleaner to help provide a clean, safe club environment at our Lancaster, PA location. This role starts at $13 per hour with hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months thereafter based on performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Successful prior custodial experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by following daily cleaning checklist.
• Sanitize fitness equipment, gym floor, locker rooms and restrooms.
• Dispose of trash and stock supplies around the club.
• Report broken or missing amenities to the Club Manager.

Cleaner Responsibilities

As a member of our staff, the Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed. This includes:
• cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor
• cleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker area
• properly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker rooms
• report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager

Qualifications

• Successful prior custodial experienced preferred
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Continual standing and walking during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
