Job summary

National Fitness Partners operates Planet Fitness clubs and is seeking a full-time Cleaner at our Souderton club in Souderton, PA 18964. Starting hourly pay with annual step increases; hourly raises occur at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months thereafter.

As a Cleaner, you’ll maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment by following a cleaning checklist, sanitizing equipment and facilities and reporting issues to the Club Manager.

Qualifications

• Successful prior custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• As a member of our staff, the Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.
• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed (cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor; locker rooms and restrooms; proper trash disposal; report broken or missing amenities to Club Manager).

Cleaner Responsibilities:

As a member of our staff, the Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed. This includes:
  • cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor
  • cleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker area
  • properly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker rooms
  • report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager

• Successful prior custodial experienced preferred
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Continual standing and walking during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
