Job summary

HVMG in Portland, ME is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate daily financial reporting. You will assist guests with late check-ins and reconcile transactions in a quiet, independent setting.

Responsibilities include auditing guest accounts, processing night audit reports, and preparing management reports while reporting to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance. Hotel experience is a plus and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one year of hotel experience.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Audit guest accounts and process night audit reports to ensure accuracy.
• Assist guests with late check-ins and checkouts.
• Reconcile the day’s transactions and prepare reports for management.
• Maintain accurate financial records during overnight hours.
• Report to Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller.
