Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk, night audit, customer service, or related roles preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions and reports.
• Basic math, computer, and data entry skills.
• Ability to learn hotel PMS and financial reporting systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight shifts.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
• Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations per standards.
• Maintain knowledge of room availability, rates, packages, promotions, and services.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize room revenue and guest experience.
• Accurately collect payments, post charges, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Promote and enroll guests into loyalty programs.
• Respond to guest questions about amenities, attractions, and services.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Complete nightly audit by balancing Front Office and F&B transactions and reports.
• Reconcile cash, receipts, and credit transactions; safeguard assets.
• Close out the business day in Front Office and F&B systems and generate reports.
• Review front office logs and housekeeping data to prepare for next day.
• Maintain accurate records of guest communications, packages, and overnight activity.
• Ensure Front Desk and lobby areas are clean and organized.
• Monitor safety and assist during emergencies.
• Communicate maintenance concerns to relevant departments.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and SOPs.
• Complete additional projects as assigned.
