Job summary

Comfort Inn & Suites - Beaverton, Portland West is seeking a dependable Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations, conduct the nightly audit, and prepare the property for the next day. You will assist guests with late arrivals, reservations, and requests while balancing transactions and ensuring security.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and computers, and capable of independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience with computers and hotel operating systems.
• Experience with spreadsheets and standard office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong guest service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions independently.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional guest service and front desk support during overnight shifts.
• Check guests in/out; assist with reservations and room assignments.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns; resolve issues when possible.
• Process payments, deposits, refunds, and other transactions accurately.
• Balance daily financial activity and complete Night Audit checks and reports.
• Maintain accurate guest records and front desk documentation.
• Prepare morning reports and brief the incoming team.
• Ensure front desk and lobby remain clean and organized.
• Monitor safety and security; conduct overnight property checks.
