Job summary

Extended Stay America Premier Suites Portland - North Portland is seeking a night auditor to join our hospitality team in Portland, OR. You will audit financial records, process reservations and check-ins, and help ensure guest satisfaction during overnight hours.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, basic accounting familiarity, and computer proficiency. Some college is preferred, and prior hotel experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Prior hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
• Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest complaints, process reservations and check-ins, and other front desk agent duties as required.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management.
• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay.
• Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required.
• Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus.
