Job summary

Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, operated by Xanterra Travel Collection, seeks a Night Auditor for the overnight shift to manage the night audit in the Grand Canyon Railway properties. Responsibilities include posting to Opera PMS, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring accurate revenue balancing.

The position is full-time and year-round with a schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Perks include free gym and pool access, complimentary train tickets, and exclusive discounts across Xanterra properties.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and cash handling experience.
• Previous Front Desk experience.
• Experience with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Audit posting to the Opera property management system from all revenue departments.
• Balance all room charges for the day to ensure accuracy; post charges and adjustments if needed.
• Process credit cards by balancing, post any necessary adjustments, and then transmitting for submittal to Merchant-Link.
• Run shift audit update to verify that corrections were made and that all numbers are in balance.
• Reconcile all transfers for direct bill – verify all as valid Accounts/Receivable entries."
• Label and prepare night audit envelopes for submitting to accounting.
• Perform front desk clerk duties as needed during the shift, to include late arrival check-ins and early morning check-outs.
