Job summary

Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to manage nightly audit processes for Grand Canyon Railway Hotel properties. The role also handles guest inquiries, emergencies, and front desk duties as needed during the overnight shift.

Schedule runs 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, full-time year-round. Pay is $19.45 per hour. The position supports the hotel operations and integrates with Xanterra’s standards and services.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and cash handling experience.
• Previous Front Desk experience.
• Experience with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Audit posting to the Opera property management system from all revenue departments.
• Balance all room charges for the day and post adjustments as needed.
• Process credit cards by balancing and transmit for merchant submission.
• Run night audit reports and update to ensure all numbers balance.
• Handle guest inquiries, emergencies, and front desk duties as needed during shift.
• Train, mentor and monitor night audit staff.
• Keep lobby, restrooms and common areas clean for overnight guests.
• Communicate issues via email to appropriate personnel.
