Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Checker Opr on B-shift overnights in Edwardsville. You will remove pallets from trailers with a forklift and assist with receiving by breaking down and stacking cases. You must verify product, date, and quantity, and be able to lift up to 90–110 lbs in a cold storage environment.

The role requires standing, walking, bending, and climbing for 12 hours per shift, with a 12-hour shift pattern and 3.5 days per week. PPE is provided and background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience with a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs; occasionally up to 110 lbs.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb for 12 hours in cold environments (-10°F to 32°F).
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Break down and stack cases during receiving.
