Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Checker Opr B-shift overnights in Edwardsville to move pallets from trailers with a forklift, break down and stack cases, and verify product, date, and quantity. The role requires frequent lifting and operating in a cold warehouse.

Expect 12-hour shifts, 3½ days a week, with potential growth as Tyson Foods continues to grow. The position involves standing, walking, bending, and exposure to a cold environment (-10° to 32°F).

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience within the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs and occasionally up to 110 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pallets are moved from trailers using a forklift.
• Break down and stack cases while receiving; verify product, date and quantity.
• Work in a cooler/freezer warehouse with temperatures -10°F to 32°F.
