Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a material handler to transport and unload materials in a cold, damp environment. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 110 lbs.

Expect a six-day work week (Mon-Sat) with rotating weekends and shifts such as C shift. Prior meat processing production experience is preferred, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Loadout Department operations, six days per week (Monday-Saturday) with rotating weekends.
• Work in cold, damp, and humid environments with temperatures from -22°F to 35°F.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 110 lbs.
• Perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and all assigned shifts.
• Complete basic data-entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office programs to support documentation and reporting.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Work in a cold, damp, and humid environment as required.
