Job summary

American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 seeks a Housekeeping Overnight Floor Tech to maintain floor surfaces across offices, corridors, lobbies, and meeting rooms. You will strip, wax, buff, shampoo, and extract floors, ensuring a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates will follow safety procedures, lift up to 60 pounds, work a 10pm–6:30am shift, and maintain flexibility for weekends and holidays with comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant awareness of safety issues and reports incidents to the on-duty supervisor.
• Reports lost and found items to Housekeeping office.
• Repairs issues to supervisor (e.g., leaky faucets or toilets).
• Maintains a systematic floor care program for all floor surfaces including marble, walls, counters, tiles, and wood.
• Shampoos carpeted areas when needed; cleans and polishes floor surfaces.
• Maintains a cleaning schedule for all floor surfaces and ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Uses floor care chemicals properly and performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
