Job summary

American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to clean guestrooms and maintain public areas in accordance with hotel standards. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, cleaning rooms, reporting maintenance, and delivering excellent guest service.

Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus; must be eligible to work in the U.S. and capable of lifting up to 25–30 pounds (50 pounds occasionally).

Qualifications

• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus
• Ability to move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Pick up cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping department.
• Clean assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards.
• Report all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Engineering.
• Remove dirty dishes from guest rooms and hallways.
• Respond to all guest requests appropriately and in a courteous, timely manner.
• Keep the supply cart neat and organized at all times.
• Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies and amenities as necessary.
• Inspect and clean any and all appliances, including coffee maker.
• Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for the shift.
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
