Job summary

A Place At Home is seeking an Overnight Fall Prevention Aide to provide non-medical care during the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift. The role focuses on keeping clients safe, reducing fall risk, and offering reassurance and companionship through the night in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring, assistive transfer, hygiene support, safety checks, and timely reporting to the supervisor. CNA/HHA certification and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight monitoring to reduce fall risk.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility per care plan.
• Offer toileting, hygiene, and comfort support during the night.
• Maintain a safe environment with clear pathways and proper lighting.
• Observe and report changes to supervisor and document in care records.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents overnight.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Follow HIPAA and company privacy/safety policies.
