Job summary

Hyatt Centric Nashville is seeking an Overnight Facility Supervisor to lead property operations during the night shift, ensuring safety, performance, and guest comfort. This hands-on role requires independent decision-making, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive service mindset.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with morning teams, manage maintenance records, and uphold Hyatt’s standards of care and hospitality in a dynamic, lifestyle hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in hotel engineering, maintenance, or facilities.
• Minimum 1+ year in safety, security, or loss prevention.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Independent decision-making and overnight problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems for reporting and security platforms.
• Flexible availability including overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader on property overnight in the absence of senior leadership.
• Oversee hotel operations, ensuring all departments are supported as needed.
• Maintain situational awareness of occupancy levels, VIPs, and group activity.
• Communicate with morning leadership teams via logs, reports, and handoffs.
• Maintain records of maintenance activity, safety incidents, and follow-up actions.
• Support and guide overnight colleagues, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Promote a culture of safety, respect, and service excellence.
