Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Sumter, SC is seeking compassionate CAREgivers to provide in-home support to seniors. Join us to deliver daily comfort, dignity, and independence while building meaningful moments.

We offer part-time and full-time schedules, competitive pay up to $16/hour, benefits, and training. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, homemaking, and companionship in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Heart for Caring: empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving preferred (family experience counts).
• Reliability: valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical Strength: able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements.

Responsibilities

• Personal Support: help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: provide companionship, medication reminders, and dementia care
• Reliable Support for Clients: run errands, transportation, and more

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:
