Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Florence, SC is seeking caring CAREgivers to provide personal support, mobility assistance, homemaking, meal prep, and companionship in clients' homes. You will help with grooming, daily activities, reminders, and safe transfers using appropriate lifts and belts.

The role offers up to $16/hour, flexible schedules including part-time and full-time, and benefits like 401K, PTO, health coverage, and holiday bonuses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs.
• Help clients with safe mobility and transfers.
• Provide light homemaking, meal prep, and housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and medications reminders as needed.
• Run errands and provide transportation when required.

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
