Comfort Keepers in Summerville, SC is seeking caring CAREgivers to bring comfort, joy, and independence to seniors at home. Join a team that feels like family and grow your nurturing skills while making a meaningful impact daily.

We offer flexible schedules (part-time or full-time), competitive pay ($16-$20/hour), and benefits including health coverage, 401K, and PTO. Prior caregiving is preferred, and a valid driver’s license helps you serve clients across the area.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers

Responsabilités

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Assist with mobility and transfers using hoyer lifts and gait belts
• Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Provide companionship, medication reminders, and care for dementia clients
• Run errands, provide transportation, and other support for clients

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
