Metairie Small Animal Hospital in Metairie, LA is seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our ER/ICU team. You will care for urgent, hospitalized, and critically ill patients alongside emergency veterinarians and a dedicated overnight crew.

Qualifications

• Hands-on veterinary technician experience required.
• ER/ICU experience a plus.
• Credentialed or non-credentialed RVT/LVT/CVT encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess emergency patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized and critically ill patients.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgeries and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets.
