Job summary

The PARC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician for the overnight shift. This full-time role supports 24/7 ER/ICU services in a 25,000 square foot facility that blends local care with Thrive Pet Healthcare’s network.

You will perform advanced nursing care, monitor critical patients, and collaborate with veterinarians to implement evolving treatment plans while mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinary technician in an Emergency and/or Intensive Care setting.
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT encouraged to apply.
• Experience providing advanced nursing care to hospitalized, high-acuity ICU patients.
• Strong medical math skills for CRI’s, multimodal drug infusions, and fluid therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced ICU nursing care for hospitalized, high-acuity patients with continuous monitoring.
• Monitor BP, ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂ and interpret data for medical decisions.
• Manage CRIs, complex fluid therapy, and long‑term catheters with infection control.
• Assist veterinarians with advanced procedures and specialty surgeries.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear shift-to-shift communication.
