Job summary

VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals (MECA) in Greenfield, WI seeks a Veterinary Assistant for its Overnight team. This full-time role offers 12-hour overnight shifts (6:00 pm–6:00 am), three shifts per week with alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

Compensation ranges from $18–$24 per hour, determined by experience. You will assist in emergencies, monitor patients, communicate with pet owners, and help maintain equipment while collaborating with a dedicated emergency team.

Qualifications

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during surgeries, trauma care, and critical treatments.
• Provide compassionate care and monitor vital signs of emergency patients.
