Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's Emergency Veterinarians are sought for overnight shifts at our Western Massachusetts hospitals, including South Deerfield and West Springfield, delivering high-quality emergency care to diverse cases.

You will work three 12-hour overnight shifts per week with a starting salary of $180,000 to $200,000 plus tiered production bonuses, sign-on and relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Rotating internship or 2+ years experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-centered care.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent conditions.
• Provide comprehensive care through triage, monitoring, and hospitalization when needed.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients.
• Occasionally perform soft tissue surgeries with additional training available.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams for seamless care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture built on mentorship and learning.
