Job summary

All Valley Animal Care Center, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Part-time, Overnight ER Veterinary Technician in Meridian, ID.

You will support veterinarians, perform lab work, admissions and discharges, and maintain medical records. Eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus; overnight and weekend differentials of $2/hr; schedule Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of clinical experience in veterinary settings.
• Licensure as a veterinary technician preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary technology program preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and client education.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in line with the state's Vet Practice Act.
• Maintain medical records and client communications; manage patient flow and lab tasks.
• Mentor and guide fellow team members as needed.

Skills

2-3 years clinical experience

Veterinary licensure preferred

Education

AVMA-accredited vet tech program degree
