BluePearl Pet Hospital in Avondale, AZ is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician (licensed or unlicensed) to join our fast-paced Emergency department. Sunday-Monday-Tuesday 7pm-7am; open to 4/10's over 3/12's.

The role offers $22-$32/hour with additional shift differentials and a competency-based progression. You will triage, monitor anesthesia, perform radiography, and support critical patients alongside top veterinary professionals.

Qualifications

• Licensed or unlicensed Veterinary Technician for Emergency department.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital.
• Ability to triage, monitor anesthesia, and support critical patients.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and obtain vitals.
• Perform digital radiography and proper patient positioning.
• Understand normal vital signs ranges and alert Veterinarian as needed.
• Calculate medical dosages and administer meds.
• Place IV catheters and manage feeding tubes.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Provide compassionate client communication.
