Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking an Overnight ER/ICU Veterinary Technician to support ER doctors, perform stabilization, and manage critical care tasks during overnight shifts. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Credentialed Technicians: 2+ years ECC experience.
• Non-Credentialed Technicians: 4+ years ECC experience.

Responsibilities

• Triaging, obtaining vitals, and documenting patient history.
• Stabilization under veterinary direction.
• IV catheter placement, sample collection, and medication administration.
• Assist with anesthesia and CPR; RECOVER training preferred.
• Diagnostics including radiographs and in-house labs.
• Provide advanced nursing care and monitor status.
