Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician for Overnight Emergency & Critical Care in Red Bank, NJ. Credentialed technicians earn $27-37/hr; non-credentialed $24-32/hr with an overnight differential of $2/hr and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

The role involves triage, stabilization, treatment, and ongoing management of emergency and critically ill patients in a state-of-the-art facility. Collaboration with ER/ICU teams and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• LVT, CVT, or RVT credential preferred.
• Three years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Experience in emergency or specialty hospital preferred.
• RECOVER CPR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize emergency patients while providing immediate lifesaving care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate critical changes promptly.
• Execute treatment plans with sound clinical judgment in evolving situations.
• Assist with anesthesia, CRIs, and medications through multiple routes.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care including pain management and nutrition support.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
