Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) seeks an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician for late swing shifts in Houston, TX. Grow skills in a fast-paced ER with 24/7 coverage, alongside a skilled emergency team dedicated to patient care.

Responsibilities include triage, lifesaving interventions, treatments, and collaboration with veterinarians. LVT preferred; two years’ experience encouraged; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred.
• Minimum two years veterinary experience encouraged.
• Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and reading required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care and monitoring for hospitalized patients.
• Deliver compassionate client support with timely updates.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to implement care plans.
• Maintain treatment areas and ensure equipment readiness.
