Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts in Denver, CO (Denver Tech Center). You will be on the front lines of emergency care, delivering gold-standard nursing, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care as part of a compassionate team.

You should be credentialed (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT), with 1+ year in veterinary tech and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation includes a strong hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited degree preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of the VEG practice.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Support doctors with diagnostics, treatments, and patient management.
• Perform CPR as trained and when needed.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and procedures.
