Job summary

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) Kalamazoo is seeking an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician. You will triage, treat emergencies, and provide compassionate nursing care alongside doctors and a dedicated team.

This role requires VTNE, 2+ years ER experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll use diagnostics, monitor anesthesia, and help ensure patient and client comfort.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with VTNE passed.
• 2+ years ER experience preferred.
• Proficient with practice management software and EMR.
• Excellent communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triages and treats emergency patients with doctors and team.
• Provides nursing care, monitoring, and support through procedures.
• Assists with anesthesia and critical care nursing.
• Maintains clear communication and plan with the team.
• Handles diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubes.
