Job summary

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) Kalamazoo is seeking an Overnight LVT to join our emergency team. You’ll work on the front lines of urgent care, triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical nursing in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll collaborate with doctors, support a compassionate team, and provide emotionally intelligent care to pets and their families during stressful moments. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with VTNE passed.
• 2+ years ER experience preferred.
• Proficient with practice management software and EMR.
• Excellent communication and calm under pressure.
• Able to stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support in the most critical moments.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure smooth care flow.
• Operate IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitor patient status.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and families throughout care.
