Hillside Veterinary Clinic in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician - Emergency for the overnight shift. You will support veterinarians during emergency exams, monitor anesthesia, assist with surgeries, and provide post‑operative care.

Work from 7pm to 7am in a fast‑paced ECC setting, handling diagnostics, in‑house labs, radiography, and patient records while delivering high‑quality emergency nursing care to dogs and cats. Thrive Pet Healthcare supports growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience.
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting veterinarians during emergency exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with emergency surgeries and post‑operative care.
• Providing emergency nursing care and first aid to injured or recovering patients.
• Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂) and collecting samples for in‑house diagnostics.
