I-20 Animal Hospital seeks an Overnight Veterinary Technician to join an experienced overnight emergency team in the Weatherford/Hudson Oaks area. The hospital operates 24/7 with eight veterinarians and a fast-paced ER environment designed to deliver high-quality care for dogs and cats.

Whether you are an experienced Veterinary Technician or a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), this role offers collaboration with a dedicated overnight crew committed to outstanding patient care and teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Technician in emergency or critical care settings.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) encouraged to apply.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during emergencies.
• Strong skills in laboratory diagnostics and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emergency and hospitalized patients through overnight shifts.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics and treatments.
• Place IV catheters and administer medications and fluids.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency surgeries.
• Perform venipuncture, collect samples, and support diagnostics.
• Take and process digital radiographs and interpret basic results.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document treatments.
• Communicate patient updates during shift changes and with the medical team.
• Provide compassionate nursing care for critical and hospitalized patients.
