Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in South Austin is seeking experienced Overnight Veterinary Technicians to help launch our brand-new specialty and emergency hospital. Be part of our founding team delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will triage emergencies, monitor anesthesia, perform radiography, place IV catheters, and support a collaborative team focused on learning and growth. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary technicians with a passion for emergency care.
• Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring and patient assessment.
• Proficiency in radiography, venous access, and critical care support.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency patients and obtain vital signs.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Perform digital radiography and proper patient positioning.
• Place IV catheters and perform phlebotomy.
• Calculate and administer medications, including CRIs.
• Monitor critical patients and respond to changes.
• Assist with CPR and emergency procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and support team.
