Stony Brook University is the premier academic medical center in Suffolk County, New York. The Clinical Assistant Professor will provide psychiatric evaluation and management for patients in CPEP/ED and will teach and supervise medical students and residents.

Overnight schedule totals 40 hours weekly, including 4 overnight shifts and weekend coverage. The role offers moonlighting eligibility and participation in our faculty practice/after hours program, with comprehensive SUNY NY State pension,

Formación

• MD/DO (or foreign equivalent) required.
• New York State license or eligibility required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry required.

Responsabilidades

• Psychiatric evaluation and management of patients in CPEP/ED.
• Teaching and supervision of medical students and residents.
• Overnight coverage in CPEP with weekend and holiday shifts.
