Job summary

Stony Brook University is seeking an Overnight Attending Psychiatrist for its Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at University Hospital. The Clinical Assistant Professor will conduct psychiatric evaluations and management, and will teach and supervise medical students and residents.

The role features 40 hours per week of overnight coverage (4x10 hour shifts), with weekend/holiday requirements and opportunities for moonlighting and participation in the faculty practice after-hours

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent with NY license or eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in Adult Psychiatry.
