Job summary

unity BAY Updated is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Full-Time – 36 Hours per Week) for Moncks Corner, SC. Schedule: Wednesday/Thursday 10p–10a and Sunday 10a–10p. Pay rate: $17.50 per hour.

Overtime available. All new hires must complete 7 days of orientation prior to starting. The DSP provides support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum age 18.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with IDD in a Community Training Home.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Safely transport individuals to activities and appointments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ISP data per policy.
• Administer medications and assist with routines per policy.
• Support individuals to achieve independence and quality of life.
