Job summary

Unity Bay Updated is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in a community setting. The DSP will help with activities of daily living, training, and supervision to promote independence and safety within a residential program.

Schedule includes Wednesday/Thursday 10p-10a and Sunday 10a-10p; paid orientation is provided. Overtime is available, with a $17.50 per hour rate and on-site work in Summerville, SC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required) and Minimum age: 18
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, meals, and safety.
• Maintain and document ISPs and behavior programs as needed.
• Transport individuals to activities and appointments; follow safety protocols.
