Job summary

unity BAY Updated is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the West location in Moncks Corner, SC. The role provides supervision and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community home setting.

The position includes weekend and evening shifts, with paid orientation and training. The DSP helps residents achieve independence, safety, and quality of life while following agency policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License required.
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).
• Maintain professionalism and follow agency policies and procedures.
• Assist with daily living tasks, health and safety routines, and transportation as needed.
• Document ISPs, MARs, and other required records accurately.
• Ensure rights, safety, and dignity of individuals and compliance with licensing and safety protocols.
