Lifetime Assistance seeks a Direct Support Professional – Residential in LeRoy, NY, to provide direct care, support independence, and help document progress on service plans. This full-time night role requires 40 hours weekly (Thu–Sun, 9pm–7am) with a starting wage of $21.55/hour plus a $0.50 overnight shift differential.

No prior experience is required; certifications such as First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration may be needed, and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must pass all required background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, household tasks).
• Support individuals in developing independence, self-help, and social skills.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being, including medication administration (if certified).
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in social/recreational activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training, certifications, and ongoing professional development.
