Lifetime Assistance, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Residential in Rochester, NY. This on-site, part-time role covers evenings and weekend shifts, with a starting wage of $21.55/hour plus a $0.75 weekend differential.

As a DSP, you will support individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and help maintain health and safety while documenting progress and participating in trainings.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required for the role.
• Must have First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must pass all required background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).
• Basic computer literacy for documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in developing independence, self-help, and social skills.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being, including medication administration (if certified).
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in social and recreational activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
