Job summary

The Arc Ontario in Ontario County, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential (Floating OVN) to join our overnight Residential Team. In this role you will support individuals with developmental disabilities during the night, assist with evening and morning routines, perform safety checks, and help with personal care as needed.

This full-time position offers a rate of $18.91–$20.14 per hour, plus a $0.50 floating position premium and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; one year of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Reliable transportation, NYS driver's license and safe driving record for 1 full year prior to hire date

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance and training to individuals to enable daily living skills in accordance with an individualized plan.
• Provide training to enhance self-sufficiency in independent living.
• Travel between four residential homes to support staffing needs.
