Job summary

The Arc Ontario in Ontario County, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential (Floating OVN) for overnight shifts. This full-time role supports individuals with developmental disabilities during nights, performing routines, safety checks, and daily living tasks.

Pay is $18.91-$20.14 per hour, with an additional $0.50 floating position differential and night/weekend differentials; schedule is Tuesday-Saturday overnights.

Qualifications

• 18 years old and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Reliable transportation with NYS driver's license and clean record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on overnight support and instruction for daily living.
• Assist with evening/morning routines and safety checks.
• Support personal care and household tasks as needed.
• Travel between four residential homes to staff needs.
