Job summary

The Arc Ontario in Ontario County, NY is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional to provide safe, overnight support, assist with evening and morning routines, perform safety checks, and help with personal care and household tasks. You will help individuals feel secure and supported through the night.

The role offers $18.91-$20.14 per hour, with $1.00 night and weekend differentials, and full-time benefits including health, retirement, PTO, and growth opportunities within The Arc Ontario.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred along with 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education/and or experience preferred.
• If driving is required, reliable transportation, NYS driver’s license and safe driving record for 1 full year prior to hire date.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.

Position Overview

Join our Residential Team as an Overnight Direct Support Professional and make a meaningful difference by ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for individuals with developmental disabilities while they sleep. In this vital overnight role, you'll provide support with evening and morning routines, perform regular safety checks, assist with personal care as needed, & complete household tasks to keep the home running smoothly. Your presence provides peace of mind and continuity of care through the night, helping individuals feel secure and supported.
