The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Harrisburg, PA is seeking to hire a full time entry-level awake overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role enters the daily lives of our clients with compassion and commitment.

You will support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible, performing activities of daily living, transportation, medication

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as household maintenance, transportation, medication administration, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care and more.
• Build strong relationships while learning each person's differences in ability, personality, interests, learning and motivation.
• Support people to live their best lives as independently as possible, in a structured daily environment.
