The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) located in Mechanicsburg and New Cumberland, PA, is hiring a full‑time, entry‑level, awake overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Benefits

Our DSPs earn a competitive hourly wage of $17.12 per hour plus an additional $1.00 shift differential for overnight hours. Full‑time staff receive health, dental, and vision insurance at no cost for employee‑only coverage. Other benefits include 3 weeks of paid vacation in the first year of employment, life insurance, long‑term disability insurance, a retirement plan, and other voluntary benefits.

A Day in the Life of a DSP

As a DSP, you support residents in living their best lives independently. Your responsibilities include household maintenance, transportation, medication administration, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and personal care. You build strong relationships, learning each resident’s abilities, interests, and preferences to provide personalized care.

Work Schedule
