Job summary

ICL is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a residential program in New York (NY NY 10023). Overnight Sunday–Thursday 11pm–7:30am, 40 hours per week. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a DSP certificate, with certifications obtainable within six months.

A NY driver's license may be required. Responsibilities include direct care, health support, meal assistance, documentation, and collaboration with clinical staff to support independence and community integration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate from an accredited organization is required or obtainable within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and health support including hygiene, grooming, toileting, medication administration (per AMAP), vital signs, and medical appointments.
• Support nutrition and mealtime activities including meal preparation and safe food handling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized residential environment including housekeeping and safety.
• Promote development, independence and community integration through skill-building and transportation support.
• Observe, document, and report individual progress; participate in program planning, team meetings, and staff training.
