Job summary

Creative Care Resources is looking for dependable staff to provide quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves working overnight shifts from 10 pm to 8 am, helping individuals with meaningful interactions and ensuring their safety within the community. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a positive attitude, and have at least a high school diploma. Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Demonstrate the desire and skills to work with persons with special needs.
Pass a Criminal Background Check.
Valid driver's license & clean driving record preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, take stairs, bend/twist, kneel/crouch.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Read, write and speak English proficiently.

Job description

We are a company that specializes in enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing creative and quality care in all areas of their lives! We are looking for staff that are dependable, energetic, and quick on their feet and are committed to helping our individuals live their best life!

Creative Care Resources overnight shifts are typically from 10 pm to 8 am the following day. During overnight shifts, staff are expected to follow all of the trainings and procedures as daytime staff, but they do have the ability to sleep if the individuals are also asleep and in a safe setting.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Demonstrate the desire, skills and abilities to work with persons with special needs (training is provided)
Pass a Criminal Background Check
Valid driver's license & clean driving record preferred
Demonstrate a positive demeanor & outlook
Full Time requires working a minimum 30 hours per week
Part Time hours are between 7 & 30 hours per week
Ability to stand, walk, sit, take stairs, bend/twist, kneel/crouch
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A willingness to work independently and as part of a team
Read, write and speak English proficiently
Ability to count and manage money
Ability to routinely operate basic equipment such as a calculator and telephone, household appliances, fire and alarm systems
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year experience working with persons with special needs is preferred
